CEO and Founder
Renwick Congdon is a serial innovator. He’s been inventing trendsetting technology for the real estate industry for nearly two decades. Imprev, the marketing technology company he built literally from his garage – complete with cubicles – has not only survived the last decade, it has flourished. Today, no other real estate marketing technology corporation works with more agents and brokers than Imprev.
Congdon honed his marketing skills as a top-producing loan officer in the 1980s. He helped the agents he worked with create personalized marketing flyers for their listings, relieving them of a time consuming task. A life-long adopter of technology, he invented software to automate this process. In the mid-1990s he began writing code for a PC and Mac desktop software program called “Flyerware,” which would instantly create personalized real estate flyers for agents and brokers. It would become a 1996 Top Product Finalist at the National Association of Realtors Convention.
Congdon would continue to innovate, integrating a feature called ”Phrase Assistant,” which helped agents add pre-written property descriptions, automating another daunting task for many agents. The product became so popular some agents still have a copy of this legacy program on their computers today.
In 1997, Congdon joined the online lending pioneer Homeshark (later iOwn.com), after it acquired the technology he invented. His penchant to innovate continued as he created the industry’s first online-consumer education campaign, rolled out the first online valuation engine, and helped the company acquire and re-develop “HomeScout” as real estate’s first listing aggregator and lead generation system.
Congdon bought back his technology, and in 2000 established Imprev. He would quickly unveil the first subscription-based virtual tour solution, create the first online Design Center that featured both multi-product and multimedia marketing solutions, and helped move the industry from border-centric designs to “full-bleed” magazine-ad style flyers and post cards that dominate designs used today.
Since 2002, Congdon has kept Imprev at the forefront of marketing technology, creating the first Enterprise marketing technology solution for real estate brokerage firms, the first multilingual real estate marketing application, the first private-label Marketing Center for a leading franchise, and helped to pioneer MLS integration for automated, data enabled marketing materials.
Congdon is aggressively pushing his Engineering, Quality Assurance and Creative teams to provide the latest marketing technology for agents, including the industry’s first iPad app for Listing Presentations (the RE/MAX Presenter), a “one-click” to Facebook and Twitter feature from within Imprev-powered Marketing and Design Centers , and the integration of an Imprev Marketing Center into a new, award-winning campaign platform.
Congdon speaks regularly on marketing technology and trends and was an Inman News Innovator Award finalist in 2004 and 2011. He was graduated with a degree in History from Western Washington University. The father of four and an Alaska native, the ice-hockey playing and yoga-practicing Congdon lives with his wife and daughters in Seattle’s Eastside.

Bill Yaman is an empowering leader with deep experience in general management, sales and marketing, product management and business development. He brings to Imprev almost 30 years of experience driving sales and marketing for world-class technology companies.
As President and Chief Revenue Officer, Bill drives Imprev’s operations and leads Imprev’s expansion efforts for all client channels, working directly with major franchises, broker-owners, real estate marketplace providers, enterprise solution suppliers, and MLS organizations.
Bill also negotiates and builds partnerships for new products and business channels.
Prior to joining Imprev, Bill served as SVP of Sales & Marketing at GoAhead Software, Inc., a pioneer in the development and delivery of packaged service availability software for the communications and defense industries. Oracle, the world’s third-largest software maker, purchased GoAhead in September 2011.
Prior to GoAhead/Oracle, Bill was President, North American Operations for PS’Soft (now ASG), a worldwide leader in the IT Asset and Service Management industry with thousands of installations around the world.
Bill has also served in executive leadership roles for Pacific Edge Software, a product and portfolio management provider (now Serena Software); Advanced Digital Information Corporation (ADIC), a leader in intelligent storage solutions; Holistix, a WRQ spinoff focused on web management software and services; and Candle Corporation, a developer of availability management solutions.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering and business management from Princeton University. Bill is an avid biker, a father of two and he and his wife live in Seattle, WA.

Since 2001, Dave Chambers has helped navigate Imprev to its dominance as the leading provider of private-label Marketing Centers for real estate leaders RE/MAX, Brookfield’s Royal LePage, Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate, and other leading real estate companies, serving more than 200,000 real estate agents and brokers worldwide.
Today Chambers is responsible for Imprev’s major account relationships and manages its operations, administration and Creative team. No other corporation powers more real estate Marketing Centers that can be accessed by more agents and brokers than Imprev.
Prior to Imprev, Chambers managed seven international offices and more than 100 international staff at World Relief, a non-profit organization which provides humanitarian aid, disaster and emergency relief, and is involved in community and economic development, welfare reform, refugee resettlement, immigration, and advocacy.
Established in 1944, Chambers was at World Relief through a time of its rapid growth, when the origination expanded its programs and provided assistance to more than one million people worldwide. Chambers helped implement World Relief’s matching grant program, a five-year effort that resulted in the creation of 110 income generation projects, including providing the necessary training to establish effective administrative, financial, and program delivery systems.
Chambers traveled extensively throughout the world during his time with World Relief, through these experiences he honed his abilities as an adept and skilled process manager with an acute attention to detail and penchant to carefully track and measure performance.
Born and raised in Summit, New Jersey, Chambers received his BA and MA from Wheaton College. He and his wife live in Mukilteo, Washington.
Paul Cooley is a highly-skilled technologist and manager who stands out among his peers for an ardent ability to look ahead to what the big picture should look like as well as execute daily on the acute details that are necessary to lead his team at Imprev to excellence. In 2011, Imprev’s technology prowess included a reliability record the envy of the industry: it was literally never completely down, with system lags across all client platforms totaling just 10 minutes for the entire year.
Cooley’s team is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Imprev’s large-scale software and hardware solutions for its Marketing Center platform, keeping Imprev an industry leader and innovator. No other company in the real estate marketing business works with more agent and brokers than Imprev.
Cooley has a deep and rich background in the tech world. He made his mark in the tech world in 2001 as the Lead Engineer on the Rational Rose product at Rational Software (now IBM), which was considered “the gold standard” in its day.
Cooley joined Imprev in 2007 from drugstore.com, where he was Senior Software Engineer. There he was responsible for the development and maintenance of the “service layer” that supported the front end of drugstore.com’s multitude of sites, which were handling 1,000,000-plus interactions per day.
Cooley spent over three years as a Software Developer and Development Lead for Ensemble Systems, a privately-held company, where he developed and maintained its IBM/Rational Rose product, with duties that included coordinating the Quality Assurance team, serving as an expert troubleshooter, scoping and authoring functional and technical specifications for new features, and acting as primary liaison between Ensemble Systems and Rational/IBM Software for the Rose product.
As a team-centric manager, Cooley encourages his technologists to “learn, discover, explore and go home every day with more than you came with,” he says, adding “I strive to make our office a place you look forward to arriving at every morning.”
Cooley’s interest in technology can be traced to the Commodore VIC-20 his father gave him when he was in the first grade, which he learned ‘programming’ from articles in Byte Magazine. Cooley was graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, specializing in Computer Science, from University of Northern British Columbia, Canada. He is an avid biker, runner and father of two boys. Cooley and his wife live in Kenmore, WA.
Director of Creative Services
Elise Mattson is recognized as one of the most talented designers in the real estate industry. Her deep knowledge of the real estate market, coupled with her eye for modern design, sets her work apart from others in the field.
As Director of Creative Services, Elise is responsible for Imprev’s creative strategy as well as leading the team of designers that are responsible for Imprev’s world-class library of design templates. Elise has been with Imprev from the start, recently celebrating her 14th anniversary as part of the Imprev leadership team.
Elise enjoys painting, craft projects and traveling and lives with her husband Dave (Imprev’s Director of Quality) and their two children in Snohomish, Washington.
Director of Quality
As Director of Quality, Dave is responsible for validating both the creative and engineering quality of Imprev’s Marketing Automation platform, managing two teams of QA engineers. He is passionate about the overall end-user experience, and the coordination required across the company to bring everything together into a cohesive solution.
Dave has 17 years of experience in driving software quality on a variety of platforms in multiple industries. Prior to joining Imprev, Dave consulted on QA process and test automation for two uniquely different products; a sophisticated electronic toy with wireless communication at Synapse Product Development, and the enterprise financial reporting solution ActiveDisclosure from RR Donnelley.
Prior to his consulting, Dave was a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at HTC, validating graphics improvements to the Android OS, as well as mixed cloud/device consumer applications.
Dave also worked at Microsoft for 13 years in the Windows group, focusing on multimedia technologies and software security. As a part of the security work, Dave coordinated company-wide testing efforts to ensure the highest quality possible for monthly Windows security updates.
Dave is a recent addition to the Imprev team (but has a near perfect 12 year attendance record at Imprev holiday parties). When not working, Dave can be found in his geodesic home with his wife Elise (Imprev’s Director of Creative Services), watching movies with his kids or driving his tractor around for no specific reason.
